I flew 2 hours to London, had
an 8 hour layover, got on a plane at 11 at night, had 11 hours to Bangkok, another
11 hours to Sydney, had a 3 hour layover in Sydney, a 3 hour flight to New Zealand,
a 4 hour layover in Auckland, and then an hour flight to New Plymouth.
When I got on the small single prop plane to New Plymouth from Auckland, I remember
taking off and that was it. Next thing I knew was being woken up by the
plane landing on the ground. I was so tired that I literally passed out
on the plane. I had traveled about 8,000 miles and was exhausted.
I stumbled out of the plane, not being able to see much of
anything. I looked up and thought I saw a gigantic rat. Was I
hallucinating? No. I couldn't believe my eyes, but Kevin was
standing there with a kangaroo outfit. Unreal. What a a welcome
party.
