SWITZERLAND CONTINUED
About a half an hour into the
hike to Switzerland, the clouds enveloped us. It was really great. . . for the
first five minutes. Then all we wanted was it to clear up so we could see
the view. We were huffing and puffing all the way up. This was no
easy task. It started to rain a little and we were worried that with the
fog and then rain, we may have a very difficult time finding our way
home. The rain never amounted to much. There was wildflower all over
the place.
On the way up, we passed four men,
two of which were blind and were being lead by a dog. It was
amazing. We took some pictures of our pretty selves on the way up, just so
we could say we did it.

The air was so fresh and so clean and we had such a great time. Once we reached the top of the trail and made it to Switzerland, the clouds cleared up and we could see the other side of the mountain clearly. CONTINUED. . . at bottom of page (SCROLL DOWN)
KEEP SCROLLING DOWN. . .
We reached the top of the trail and got a
picture next to a trail sign. Next to the trail sign was a
copper compass that showed how far
we were from major cities in Europe.
If you click on the picture, you'll see
Vienna 1000km, Venice 446km,
Prague 854km, Rome 782 km and so on.
Once at the top, I was able to take a panoramic shot of the view. If your internet connection is quick, click on the picture and adjust the zoom to get all of it in one shot.
This is a picture of the two of us walking back down the
mountain after we reached Switzerland. If your ever in the Swiss area, I
recommend dropping by the Mont Blanc region.
