Berlin
The three of us met up in Berlin the night I got back from Barth. The next morning we woke up and were about to leave for Prague when I urged the other guys to stay for a day so I could see some of the city. Rosey asked me specifically what I wanted to see if we were to stay an extra day. I didn't really have anything in mind, I just wanted to walk around Berlin because I had yet to see any of the city. I finally told him that I wanted to see the Reichstag in order to get him to stop asking me why we should stay. Well, I didn't know what the Reichstag is, and I had no intention of going. Dave wasn't very happy that we stayed an extra day. However, if not for anything else, it was a successful day because we ate at an Italian restaurant in East Berlin that was some of the best food on the entire trip. It was a place called "Italian Cafe" where a guy named Nuro cooked fresh pasta right in front of us. We went for lunch and then came back for dinner. He seemed to like us but that may have been because we tipped him so well.
The three of us walked around that day and both Cassidy and Dave filled me in on what they had learned the day before on their walking tour.

We met a fun girl from Canadia, "Blame Canada!"
There is a TV tower in Berlin that raises
above the city where all of the tourists can see out over the city. Some
guy was taking video stills while people were walking by and then tried to sell
them mugs with the picture on it. I saw what was happening and thought I
would make the picture interesting. The final result is this picture of
the TV that had my picture on it.
On the left is a picture of Cassidy and Dave with two Mexican. ( no really,
they're Mexicans) Also below is a picture of the East Berlin "walking man."
This guy is apparently famous because in Germany, J-walking is a serious fine.
You will not see people even thinking about crossing when the "walking
man" is a "stop man."
