John and I set out on a Sunday afternoon with our brand new rental car, our. . .well his, Elvis tapes and some clothes to hold us over for the next couple of days.  On the first day, a rainbow touched down ahead of us.  This trip was destined for greatness.  Our plans were to start to drive up to. . .well somewhere and then stop to sleep.

The first day was overcast and rainy and it wasn't the Australia that we were expecting.  However, we managed to find a couple of cool places that made up for the weather.  We braved the rain, hoped the camera wasn't going to short circuit, and managed to get a couple of great shots.

As we were driving up the main highway, we turned off onto a scenic route which lead to small cove surrounded by rocks.  With a sense of adventure, we started to climb around the corner of the rocks. Gripping on with my Air Nikes and John's Bahamian sandals, we ventured around the rocks and found an awesome cove right near the water.  As I was taking a picture of John, a good size wave came up and soaked him just before I got the picture.  Turned out great!
